So it is officially 2026. Happy New Year to everyone!
2025 was quite interesting for me.
- I finally got into Junior College, had my ups and downs (holy shit life is terrible)
- Started on a new project rovr
- Finally had my first taste in running Linux natively thanks to CachyOS (post soon I swear)
- Switched to Helix as my editor, from VSCode
- Reduced my usage of Instagram and X/Twitter by a lot
What I hope for 2026:
- Actually lock in for my A’ Levels because I will need to ace this to get into a university
- Maybe slow down development on rovr (or just temporarily pause it)
- Reduce the time I spend on Reddit
- Look into low-level systems programming languages (preferably golang, followed by rust)
But honestly, time genuinely flew by, I remember getting into Junior College, and I’m already half way through it…
Also please, even if the AI bubble doesn’t burst, can GPU and RAM prices decrease?
